Camp Cherokee Scholarship Quilt

Purchase a chance to win the “Cherokee Starstruck” Quilt and help kids participate in Camp Cherokee through our special scholarship program.

All money raised will go toward scholarships for the 2010 Camp Cherokee season.  The “Cherokee Starstruck” Quilt is estimated to be worth $3,000.

The quilt will be moved around to different YMCA locations throughout the summer and the a drawing will be August 7th, 2009.

Ticket prices are $2/each or 3 for $5. See your local UPYMCA front desk attendant for ticket information.

Opening Doors is an annual volunteer fundraising campaign to assist people in our community in their time of need.

At the YMCA, no one who qualifies is turned away due to their inability to pay because we believe in helping all people lead healthier, happier lives. Whether someone’s hardship arises from a layoff, an illness or other financial challenges, the YMCA strives to assist anyone in need of our programs and fellowship.

While many of our programs serve children, Opening Doors supports individuals and families of all ages.
